The Adventure Craft Experience – Boat Camping
With Greg & Karen Zimpher
Hi, we are Greg and Karen Zimpher from northern California and have been boating
enthusiasts for a long time. We enjoy spending our time “boat camping”. Karen and I
used to rent a large houseboat once a year for a week so we could spend more time
on the water. When we first saw the Adventure Craft we fell in love with it. I am 6'-4" tall
and I can walk through the cabin of the boat without hitting my head. The layout is well
thought-out. It has a door at both the bow and stern and a catwalk on both sides
(which makes docking very easy). The flybridge is our favorite place to be when the
weather is nice. If the weather gets cold we can go inside, close the doors and be
comfortable. The fuel mileage is excellent. We have towed kids in a tube, fished from
the bow and even carried two kayaks on-board. Inside, there is a galley and full bath.
The boat has two large beds and you can sleep on the upper deck and enjoy the stars
during the summer.
The Adventure Craft loads and unloads very easily because of the hull and trailer
design. The boat tows well too! We traveled with the Adventure Craft over 900 miles from Idaho to Lake Powell in Arizona with no issue. The Adventure Craft definitely turns a lot of heads! Everyone wants to know where we got it from and how they can get one. We have proudly owned our Adventure Craftfor seven years and we still enjoy it as much as when we first purchased it.
